It’s been a while since I have read the original three books in this series, and at some point (hopefully soon) I need to go back and give them a reread to see if my opinions on each book has changed. Sure, I like it, and I was excited when I saw the news that Tahereh Mafi was planning on releasing (3?) new books in the series, but I wasn’t excited to the point of being over the moon about the new additions. Honestly, the Shatter Me series has never been one of my favorites. In fact, I am so fond of this book that I wanted to immediately start reading it again as soon as I finished reading it.
No one is more surprised than me by just how much I loved this book. When tragedy hits, who will she become? Will she be able to control the power she wields and use it for good?
But she’s still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch-and now she’s got the whole world in the palm of her hand. She took over Sector 45, was named the new Supreme Commander, and now has Warner by her side.
